We pack and post orders within 2–3 working days. From there, you can choose Royal Mail Tracked 48 (2–3 days) or Tracked 24 (1–2 days). Delivery’s free over £60—or £120 for faster shipping.

Yes—scent is personal, and we get that. If your candle’s unused and in its original condition, you can return it within 14 days of delivery. Just email hello@cedarhomefragrance.com with your order number to get started.

Mostly, yes.

We use a sustainable blend of rapeseed and coconut wax in all our candles. It’s grown in Europe, burns cleanly, and makes a great alternative to soy or paraffin.

When it comes to fragrance, we mostly use essential oils for their natural character and aromatherapeutic benefits. But occasionally, we’ll include a small amount of natural isolates or carefully chosen synthetics—either to boost performance or when a sustainable essential oil isn’t available. It’s always a thoughtful choice, and always in service of a scent that feels good and does good.

All of our candles, wax melts and essential oil blends are made by hand in our Manchester studio.

Absolutely. Every Cedar candle is vegan-friendly and never tested on animals.

Once finished, place the almost empty jar in a bowl of boiling water. The wax will then come loose and you can then discard it. Then it's time to wash your jar with hot, soapy water. You may need to use a knife to remove the wick. Your vessels can then be recycled, reused—or even better, refilled using a Cedar Candle Refill.

Most workshops take place in the Northern Quarter in the centre of Manchester. They are held downstairs at Form Lifestyle, 6 Bradley Street, M1 1EH. I occasionally host sessions at other venues too, so it's always worth double checking the location when you book.

Absolutely, I love to be part of your celebrations. They make a really lovely activity for birthdays, hen dos, team days and more. If you're interested in booking a private session just drop me a message at hello@cedarhomefragrance.com and we'll go from there.

The workshops are primarily aimed at adults. That said, we've had a few younger attendees over the years who've really taken to it. Children aged 10 and over are welcome, as long as they're accompanied by an adult.

The workshops are beginner friendly and designed to be an enjoyable, hands-on experience rather than a business course. That said, they're a great starting point. You'll get to work with a range of oils, learn the basics of blending, and come away with a much better understanding of how fragrance works. If you're thinking about taking things further, I'm happy to point you in the direction of useful resources and suppliers after the session.

Most public workshops take place in Manchester, though I occasionally host sessions at other venues further afield, so it's worth keeping an eye on upcoming dates.
