Learn To Burn

Slow

Let the wax melt to the edges.
Wax has a heat memory, so your first few burns really matter. Always allow your candle to burn for 3–4 hours (or until the surface is fully melted) to prevent tunneling and get an even burn every time.

Trim

Prep your wick.
Before each burn, trim your wick to around 0.5cm. You can use wick trimmers, scissors, or just pinch off the tip with your fingers once the wax is cool.
A trimmed wick means a clearer flame, less smoke, and a longer-lasting candle.

Reuse

Refill and relight.
When your candle reaches the end (about 1cm of wax left), it’s time to refill. Simply fill the jar with boiling water and let it sit until the leftover wax floats up.
Let it cool, scoop out the wax, wash the jar with hot soapy water, and dry it off. Pop in your Cedar refill and you’re ready to go again.
